This luxury and spacious villa is ideal for large family groups. The house was specifically designed to take full advantage of the incredible ocean and mountain views of the site and so the open plan living and entertaining area is located on the top floor offering breath-taking views from every angle.
The fully-equipped kitchen caters for twelve and offers a gas hob as well as an integral bean-to-cup coffee machine. A food hoist connects the kitchen to dining area by the pool terrace. Catering service for that special family occasion can be arranged upon request.
The gardens and pool are quiet and totally private. Alongside the gas-fuelled braai, a bar fridge keeps your drinks cold by the pool.
The five air-conditioned bedrooms on the lower two floors all have private terraces and are sheltered from the hot sun by the lush garden. All are provided with top quality Egyptian cotton bedding with a variety of hard and soft pillows available.
The bathrooms are fully equipped with a range of toiletries and cotton towels. Beach towels are also provided.
Winter and spring guests will benefit from the wood-burning stove and the whale-spotting opportunities from the terrace.
Penzance estate is a safe, quiet, family-orientated residential area. The estate has seen significant investment in recent years with new street lighting, security cameras and 24/7 patrols. The house has a full security system linked to an instant response team.
Villa offers double garage and space for a third car in the secure driveway.
The house manager/gardener and his wife live on site in a separate part of the property which does not impact on privacy. They are there to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to assist with anything to do with the house.
The house is serviced twice a week. More frequent servicing and personal laundry can be negotiated directly with the staff at additional cost.
One of the staff is a trained nursery maid and can offer baby-sitting and child-minding at additional cost.
Other things to note
The house is fully solar-powered with storage batteries providing 24 hours of backup electricity so guests will not be affected by load-shedding. The air-conditioning units are not connected to the batteries so are unavailable during load-shedding at night.
Full fibre to the house provides unlimited broadband at top speeds. The property also benefits from excellent 5-bar 5G mobile reception.
USB charging points are provided throughout the house and bedrooms.
